Ronald M. Smith Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Ronald M. Smith of Macomb, Michigan. Ronald, born on November 4, 1952, passed away on October 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Perla Smith; his in-laws, Martin and Mildred Bush; and his son Douglas.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his son Kirk Robinson (Brittney); his siblings, Gerald (Julia) and Roberta; and his brothers-in-law, Dean Bush (Jill) and Mark Bush (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resurrection Funeral Home (40800 Hayes Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 9:00 AM and at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Community Church (40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable contributions be made in Ron's memory to Henry Ford SandCastles (a grief support program for children and families), Henry Ford Hospice, or a cause close to your heart. Links to donate online are included below.
