He was predeceased by: his parents, John Krakowski and Marie Krakowski (Sadowski); and his brothers, Edward and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Marion Knust; his sons, Alan Krakowski (Michelle), David Krakowski and Bruce Krakowski (Cindy); his grandchildren, Justin, Bobby, Jeremy, Noah, Brandon, Lori, Beth, Scott and Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Elijah, Rosalee, Luca, Giovanni and Liliana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church - Macomb (17051 24 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:15 PM at the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery S. (17051 24 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
