She is survived by: her children, Paul Kudzia (Jean), Julia Pelt (late Martin Jr.), Theresa Spilos (Sunny), Debbie Lystad (Al), Steve Kudzia (Shari) and Ron Kudzia; her grandchildren, Michelle Arsenault (Joe), Melanie Nichols (Paul), Laura Hoeflein (Michael), Matthew Pelt (Samantha), Alexander Spilos, Lyndsey Spilos, Harmony Sierens (Bradley), Nicholas Lystad, Edward Kudzia (Alexandrea), Amanda White (Chris), Jeremy Kudzia (Angie), Megan Kudzia and Kyle Kudzia (Rose); and her brother Joe Swicki (Dorothy).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Virginia's name are appreciated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
