Catherine Gemmell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Gemmell of Madison Heights, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Catherine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael R. Gemmell; her sons, Michael Vance-Gemmell Jr. (Nickay) and Matthew Gemmell (Roberta); her grandchildren, Aubrey, Gia Nicole and Rowyn; and her brother Robert Burke.
