He is survived by : his sister Lena; his wife Alice Conner; his sons, Steven (Stephanie), Shannon (Juanita), Shane (Kim) and Shawn (Elaina); his grandchildren, Stevie, Valerie, Emily, Jimmy, Nate, Caleb, Luke, Philip, Noah, Katie, Ellen, Erin, John, Jessica, Jacob, Maribeth, Ryan, Nick, Ashley, Aiden, Claire, Megan, Kaitlin, Brendan, Hailey and Allison; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Naima, Remington, Uriah, Logan, Andrew, Cooper, Josie, Benaiah, Silas, Leeland, Thea, Garrett, Maggie, Violett, Amelia, Henry, June, Emma, Owen, Quinn, Samuel, James and Braxton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hopcroft Funeral Home-Madison Heights (31145 John R Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071). The lying in state was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Free Will Baptist Church (302 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
