He was predeceased by: his parents, Orbin Rose and Jeanette Rose; and his siblings, Jim Rose, Peggy Sozke and Lloyd Rose.

He is survived by: his wife Alma; his stepchildren, Mickey Spencer (Kimberly), Gary Spencer (Kristy) and Tami Lovins (Drewey); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Leah, Brandi, Katie, Zachary and Michael. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
