She was predeceased by: her parents, William McAvoy and Kathleen McAvoy (Clark); her husband Michael Pietraszewski; her siblings, Dolores Houser (late Ed), Don McAvoy (late Jane) and Patricia "Pat" Compello (late Joe); and her siblings-in-law, Ilene Brisbey (Tom) and Marvin Pietraszewski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Petrucci (Dave) and Barbara Morris (Tom); her grandchildren, Ann Janicki (Jason), Daniel Petrucci (Melissa), Monica Ashby (Ryan), Andrew Morris, Michelle Morris (Nick), Sondag, Alex Morris and Marcy Morris; her great grandchildren, Emmie, Savannah and Lauren; and her sisters-in-law, Theresa Pietraszewski and Miriam Grabowski (Norb). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church (28353 Herbert St, Madison Heights, MI 48071). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
