He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julia Kalugar and Mihai Kalugar; his wife Lillian "Goldie" Kalugar; his children, Michael Kalugar (Laurie), Mark Kalugar and Karen Persichino (Frank); his grandchildren, Michael (Andrea), Shane, Zachary, Julia, John, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, Leah, Kristina (Adam Probst), Frank and Anthony; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Philip, Austin and Alivia; and his sister Violet Mariutca.
