He was predeceased by: his father Ronald "Rick" Malak; and his sister Jodi Pichette Malak. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Pichette; his wife Melissa Malak (Spencer); his children, Katie (Kyle), Gary, William "Billy" (Kayla), Samantha and Ethan "Iggy"; his grandchildren, Xavier, Axel, Nathan, Liliana, Jeremy and Bo; his siblings, Jennie Lekich (Shane), Jennifer Smith (James), R. Ricky Malak (Michelle) and Daniel Malak (Heidi); and his nieces and nephews, Jodi, John-William, Elisabeth "Betsy" and Craig.
In lieu of flowers, memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home during visitation.
