It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Michael Mowry of Madison Heights, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Steven Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Steven Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his son Jacob Mowry; his father Danny Mowry; and his sister Kathy Mowry. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Cunningham; his grandson Oliver Cunningham; his wife Tammy Mowry; his mother Delores Mowry; and his brother Tony Mowry.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home (30351 Dequindre Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oakview Cemetery (1032 N Main St, Royal Oak, MI 48067).
