Thomas Ensley wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Fran, sending love and prayers to you. Shocked beyond words learning of the passing of beatiful, witty and creative Wendy. May God's grace ease your pain and fill your heart with hope. She was, I know, not only a wonderful daughter, but also a best friend. Thank you Wendy for all of your contributions to the L. H. S. Drama Club, Troupe 2253. Love, Bubba”
