He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brown and Eadvega Brown (Buragas); and his siblings, Albert Kingsley Brown, Joseph Francis Brown, John C. Brown, Mary Smith and James T. Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Brown; his children, Jeff Brown (Melissa) of Farmington Hills and Deanna Brown of Grand Rapids; and his grandchildren, Jake Brown and Brynn Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trooper Raymond L. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship through Grand Valley State University or St. Paul Lutheran Church of Kalkaska, Michigan.
