It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kevin Spires of Mancelona, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Spires and Vivian Spires (Stratton); his siblings, Samuel Spires (Helen), Leslie Spires Jr. (Elaine) and Martina Sutter (Harry); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Healey and Harry Sutter.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sisters, Zila Healey (Tom), Gertrude Westcott (Ken), Edna Lanning (Norm), Sheryl (Dave), Miller, Bonnie Wildfong (Orlo) and Jeanne Hoogerhyde (Eric); his grandchildren, Mallorie Spires, Collin Spires (Kadence), Dustin Micheal, Darren Michael and Alyiah Grody; and his great grandchild Josie Spires.
