She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bickes and Catherine Bickes (Finney) of Lincoln Park, Michigan.. She is survived by: her husband Lewis C. Major Jr.; her children, Lewis C. Major III (Rachel) of Tecumseh, Amy Eberflus (Mark) of Lexington and Holly Major (Ed Boucher) of Manchester, Michigan.; and her grandchildren, Ben Major (Amber), James Major (Fallon), Alyssa Lewis (William), Faith Eberflus (Drew), Aidan Majorprice, Maran Major (Matthew Krey), Chloe Majorprice and Caelin Major.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emanual United Church of Christ (324 W Main St, Manchester, MI 48158). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:10 PM to 12:20 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (18620 W Austin Rd, Manchester, MI 48158).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions given in Charlotte's name to the Manchester District Library.
