We announce the death of Doris Helen Hough of Manchester, Michigan, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 99. Doris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kuebler and Lydia Kuebler (Alber); her spouse Merrick Hough (Mugs); her son Gordon; her son-in-law Mike Nickerson; and her in-laws, Merrick and Olive Hough.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Nickerson and Russ Hough (Kim); her grandchildren, Tracy Patterson (Erik), Brian Hough, Amy Hough (Craig Lennon), JT Natter (Jenny) and Danyel Hough (Zach Miller); and her great grandchildren, Megan Patterson, Austin, Mackenzie Natter, Parker Hough and Elena Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, December 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel (207 E Duncan St, Manchester, MI 48158). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Manchester Dutchman Firefighters Association or a charity of your choice.
