He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zielinski and Jennie Zielinski (Polkowski). He is survived by: his wife Debra Zielinski; his sons, Edward Gregory Zielinski and Steven Alexander Zielinski; and his siblings, Donna Mallard, Lawrence Zielinski, Michael Zielinski and Gina Jennings.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel (137 S Main St, Brooklyn, MI 49230). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church (210 W Main St, Manchester, MI 48158).
