He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bauer and Teresa Bauer (McKernan); his son Larry Bauer; and his siblings, Mary Gonyer, John and Mark Bauer.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Jeanne Gonyer of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, David Bauer (Cheryl) of Clinton, MI, Deborah Burch (Daniel) of Manchester, MI, Eric Bauer (Kimberly) of Tecumseh, MI and Christopher Bauer (Monica) of Crestwood, KY; and his sister Catherine Young of Lakewood, CA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
