He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Block and Florence Block (Niesen); his wife Carol Lynn Benson; his brothers, Merle (Norma), John (Diane), Neil (Elaine) and Bruce (Janice); his grandson Blake; and his children, Kay Turkaleski of Manistee, Debra Kupp (Gary Johnston) of Elburn, Peggy Stone of St. Joseph, Jay Block (Sue) of Lowell and Lisa Wilson (Greg) of Northglenn, Colorado..
He is survived by: his grandchildren, David Turakleski (Jessica Bowser), Eric Turkaleski (Randi Jo), Ryan Turkaleski (Kelli), Stephanie Bockman (Paul Fillis), Meghan Christoffel, Dustin Stone, Alex Block (Hillary), Travis Bergy (Lance), Benjamin, Colton and Cooper Wilson; his great grandchildren, Dimtri, Daran Turkaleski, Cole, Collin Bockman, Olivia, Natalie Chrsitoffel, Benson and Jacob Block; and his friends, Betty, Clarence Sullivan of Manistee, Jim and Sally Hoornstra of Cedar Springs, Michigan.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
