With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Douglas Corey of Manistee, Michigan, born in Benzonia, Michigan, who passed away on June 28, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Corey and Jessie Corey (Baker); his brother Charlie Corey; and his brother-in-law David Hinkle. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay VanderWerf; his children, Jenni Breen (Nate) and Mike Corey; his siblings, Leonard Corey (Karlin), Gene Corey and Norma Hinkle; and his siblings-in-law, Duane VadnerWerf, Bruce VanderWerf, Mary Corey and Kelly Nadolski (Mark). He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
