She was predeceased by: her father Victor Johnson; her siblings, Victor Johnson Jr., Mary Pearce and Betty Townsend; and her daughter Judie Garthwaite (Pracher).
She is survived by: her son-in-law Tim; her husband John M. Akerman (Jack); her children, Jacalyn Stebelton Kish (Bob) of Holland, John Akerman (Maryann) of Honor and Joyce Lyn Conatser (Tim) of Bokeelia, Florida; and her siblings, Fred Johnson of Manistee, Roseann Harrigan of Holland and Loretta Sleeman of Manistee. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
