She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Laird and Hazel Laird; her parents-in-law, Charlene Chmielewski and Theodore Chmielewski; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Anne Wisneski (Chmielewski), Priscilla Chmielewski (Sedler) and Darrell Wisneski.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Chmielewski; her sons, Jeffrey and Mark; her daughter-in-law Michelle; her granddaughters, Erica and Rachel; her sister Donna Laird; and her brother-in-law Donald Chmielewski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions instead be made to the Manistee County Library of 95 Maple St. Manistee, MI.
