She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Berns (Heiden) and Henry Berns; her siblings, Doris Althoff (Gerhardt), Lavern (Sally), Walter Berns (Madelyn) and Eva McCarthy; and her husband Dale.
She is survived by: her sister Linda Miller (Richard); her children, Dawn Gorman, Amy Stewart and Jody Shoemaker; her grandchildren, Olivia Beltran (Florencio), Nora Gorman, Tyler Minster and Jonah Stewart; and her great grandchild Drayton Rankin. She is also survived by numerous brother- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial donations can be made to the Manistee County Medical Care Facility in Laura’s name.
