We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2022, at the age of 97, Leona Lorraine Amerell of Manistee, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Chichester and Margaret Chichester (Nice); her husband Carl Amerell; her sons, Joseph DeWitt, David DeWitt, Thomas DeWitt and Paul DeWitt; and her sisters, Sandra LaFleur and Kathryn Schultz.

She is survived by: her son Walter DeWitt of Manistee. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
