It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Marzinski (Manistee, Michigan), born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Idalski; her husband Daniel Marzinski; her son Robert; her siblings-in-law, Evelyn, Emery Oleniczak, Alice, Jack McCarthy, Vina Jankowski, Carl, Leona Marzinski, Dorothy, Clem Stefanick, Erwin and Carlene Nowak; her stepbrother Deacon Charles; and her sister-in-law Marion Skubick.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Connie Marzinski of Manistee; her daughters, Barbara (Ken Hansen), Judith (Peter Garrison) and Debra Kaminski (Phil Kaminski); her daughter-in-law Linda Marzinski of Canton; her grandchildren, Shannon Schroeder (Josh Getkin), Adam Marzinski, Brittany Fenbert (Bill), Abigail Ruelle (Brandon), Kendra Conroy (Chad), Justin Marzinski (Stefanie), Heather Johnson (late Levi), Logan Hansen, Ryan Hansen (Maddie), Nicholas Hansen, Jared Garrison (Carrie), Jessica Apawu (Geoff), Austin Garrison, Grant Garrison (Faith), Jason Kaminski (Jaclyn) and Nicole Kaminski; her stepgrandsons, Nathan Garrison and Gabriel Garrison (Beckie); her great grandchildren, Juliette, Zachariah Schroeder, Delilah, Elisia, Emerson Fenbert, Charlotte, Madelyn Conroy, Drew, Tate Garrison, Tessa, Hailey Marzinski, Oliver Hansen, Parker, Ellery Hansen, Cleo Johnson, Jaylee, Roman Garrison, Levi, Iris, Owen, Jeremiah and Joshua Garrison; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Kaminski of Manistee.
A memorial has been established in Mary's name for Manistee Catholic Central Schools, the Manistee County Medical Care Facility, and Divine Mercy Parish with envelopes available at the funeral home.
