He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Ludwigson and Ludwig Ludwigson; and his brother Luddy. He is survived by: his son David (LaMont); his wife Cassandra; his daughters, Lisa Smith (Bobby) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Lexi Lund (Kyle) and Max Rakoski (Alyssa); his sister Jane; his siblings-in-law, George Thomas, Marc, Sue Stepniewski, Philip, Tammy Roskoski and Carole Ludwigson; and his sibling's children, Debbie, Jason, Jeff, Mike and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Herbert Funeral Home (706 Kosciusko St, Manistee, MI 49660). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
At Phil's request, in lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the Ludwigson family at 275 St. Mary's Parkway, Manistee, MI 49660. Any monetary gifts will be donated to a local charity.
