He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Doug" Schoppert and Alice Schoppert (Wheeley); his wife Marian Bass; and his siblings, Bill Schoppert, Lori Hladky and Denny Schoppert.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Sauer (Mike), Russell Schoppert and Angie Villamaria (Ron); and his grandchildren, Heather Torres (Joe), Matt Schoppert, Chris Schoppert (Brandi), Caitlyn Villamaria, Quinn Villamaria and Paige Schoppert.
