He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Slining Sr. and Elizabeth R. Slining (Barnes); and his brother George J. Slining Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Susan Slining of Vulcan, MI and Trish Forstner-Cayia (Bob Cayia) of Manistique, MI; and his nieces, Kristy, Jenny, Ragen and Chloe.
