It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurel Loreen DeGrand of Manistique, Michigan, born in Curtis, Michigan, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville R. Winsor and Marie Winsor (Paradise); her husband Donald DeGrand; her son Michael DeGrand; her sons-in-law, John Chmela and Mark Knicklebine; her siblings, Lauren Winsor and Beverly Jahn (Conrad); and her brother-in-law Robert White.
She is survived by: her children, Donald "DJ" DeGrand (LouAnn) of Naubinway, MI, Martin DeGrand (Debra) of Waukesha, WI, Ann Marie Mueller of Savannah, GA, Laurel DeGrand (Julia) of Milwaukee, WI, Estelle Chmela (Mike Gafford) of Red Granite, WI and Jeanne White (Bob) of Manistique, MI; and her siblings, Orville Winsor (Ilene) of Manistique, MI and Nancy White (late Robert) of Manistique, MI. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
