He is survived by: his mother Diane Upton (North) of Manistique; his wife Erthel Banks; his children, Kyle Upton (Ciarra) of Escanaba, Laura Upton of Escanaba and Ajax Pineau of Escanaba; his sister Kristin Berendt of Gulliver; and his daughters, Erin Bruner (Brandon), Florence Hoats, Jennifer Banks and Stephanie Banks. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
