He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo H. DeMars and Jean G. DeMars (Macfarlane). He is survived by: his wife Mary DeMars of Manistique; his children, Nicole Bushey (Scott) of Big Bay, MI, Matthew DeMars of Manistique and Paige DeMars of Marquette; his grandchildren, Dantae and Olivia; and his siblings, Randy DeMars, Cathy Tufnell, Mike DeMars and Laurie Barr.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hiawatha Town Hall (1595N M-94, Manistique, MI 49854).
