He was predeceased by: his father Peter Hardy Geis; his father-in-law Gary Lee Wallace; and his stepfather-in-law John H. Boal. He is survived by: his wife Angela Rebecca Geis; his son Matthew Lee Geis of Manistique, MI; his mother Mary Lou Geis of Allendale, MI; his mother-in-law Sylvia Ann Wallace-Boal; his sister Kimberly DeRitter (Glenn) of Jenison, MI; his brother-in-law James Wallace (Tamekia) of Dallas, TX.; his uncle Clarke Thacker (Nancy); his aunt Diane Geis; and his cousins, Norm Geis (Vicki), Leslie (Gary), Jeffrey Geis (Blanca), Stacey Isaacson (Peter), Scott Thacker (Jamie), Mark Thaker (Charlie), Chris Thacker (Renee) and Andy Thacker (Terri).
