The memory of Scott Hardy of Manistique, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 55, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Denise Hardy. He is survived by: his parents, James Hardy and Kathleen Hardy (Peterson); his wife Julie Hardy (Miotke); his children, Brittany Weirich (Kurt) of Negaunee, Ashleigh Box (Remington) of Crystal Falls, Nolan Armock (Kylee Weber) of Manistique, Nathan Armock of Iron Mountain and Emma Hardy; his brothers, James M. Hardy (Sharon) of Eagle River, Alaska and Henry Hardy (Patty) of Cooks; his grandchildren, Benjamin Weirich, Aiden Weirich and Dominic Hardy; and his stepgrandchildren, Aveia Box, Xander Box and Kimber Burnis. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Fausett Family Funeral Home (211 Arbutus Ave, Manistique, MI 49854). A prayer was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (330 Oak St, Manistique, MI 49854). The military honors was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Inwood Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's honor may be sent to the family for future designation.
