He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanita Mae McCaffrey (Johnston) and John "Jack" Paul McCaffrey; and his son Brendan McCaffrey. He is survived by: his wife Karen McCaffrey (Hadden); his children, Ann M. Nichols of Meadville, PA, Brenda L. Greenawald (Bill) of Meadville, PA, Jack D. McCaffrey of Meadville, PA and Darren A. McCaffrey of Cresson, PA; and his siblings, LeeAnn Langworthy (Gerome) of Kalkaska, MI, Brenda Peebles of Meadville, PA, Sara McCaffrey of Meadville, PA, Timothy McCaffrey (Shelly) of Altoona, PA and John McCaffrey (Carol) of Geneva, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at the Comfort Inn (617 E Lake Shore Dr, Manistique, MI 49854).
