With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Sue Hauch of Manitou Beach, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Chatfield and Shirley Chatfield (Howard); her husband Frederick Morton Hauch; her sister Carol Hunt; her sons-in-law, Chris Keefe and Mark Sumpter; and her close friends, Tiger, Brody and Chaughchi.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Keefe of Brooklyn, Nathan, Megan Hauch of Belleville, MI and Fred Hauch Jr. (Brittney) of Manitou Beach; her brother Robert Chatfield of Manitou Beach; her brother-in-law Leon Hunt of Jackson; her grandchildren, Sydney, Caleb, Finley, Easton, Emma, Mark Jr. and Reese; her nieces and nephews, Shelly, Corey, Debbie and Todd; and her close friend Ginny Hunt of Onsted.
Memorial contributions in honor of Barb can be made to benefit Hospice of Lenawee.
