He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Adams and Erma Adams (Price); his wife Christine Hartman; his siblings, Rosalie Fouty (Jerry), Barabara Newbill (Ralph) and Mike Adams (Cindy); his son-in-law Daniel Lindsey; and his brother-in-law David Draper.

He is survived by: his children, Lillian Lindsey of Springhill, Doug Adams (Kay) of Addison, Sara Adams of Clark Lake, David Adams (Linda) of Arizona, Donna Fernelius (Mark) of Addison and Stanley Adams (Melody) of Adrian; and his sister Linda Draper of Jonesville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
