Marilyn Gassel Obituary

We announce the death of Marilyn Gassel of Manton, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 74. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Middaugh and Natalie Middaugh (Hunter); and her siblings, Carol and Bill. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Cowley of Negaunee, Beth Baumgartner (Craig) of Cadillac and Joseph Gassel (Lauren Canning) of Westland; her grandchildren, Rebekah, Cole, Parker, Gavin, Maxwell and Harrison; and her siblings, Rick Middaugh, Martha Seid and Marian Reichardt.
