He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Yax and Barbara Yax (Taft); and his aunt Dorothy Taft. He is survived by: his former wife Shelly Yax; his daughters, Donna Higley (Tim), Nicole Yax (Doug Johnston), LeeAnne Price and Airon Smith (Corey); his grandchildren, Tristian, Trinity, Logan, Lucas, Thomas, McKenzie, Carmelo, Brooklyn, Tianna, Corey Jr., Megan, Syrenity and Jaiden; his great grandchild Ka'ya; and his siblings, Terry Yax, Larry Yax (Cherie), Patty Noel (Jack) and Patsy Aldrich (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
