She is survived by: her children, Douglas Bent (Stefania), Dale Bent (Sara), Susan Engel (Larry) and Sharon Bachinski (James); her grandchildren, Pete Bachinski (Coree), Paul Bachinski (Kathryn), Rebekah Williams (Jason), Rachelle Smith (Brian), Derek Bent (Marisa), Forrest Bent, Lincon Bent and Kohan Bent; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Pierson.

Donations in Nanette's memory may be directed to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

“I send my heartfelt condolences to Nanette's family. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend her services today due to a prior commitment. Although I had met Nanette but only a few times over the years, I knew her best through my late wife, Pamela Holmes Martin, who was Nanette's niece. Pam often spoke of her fond memories and experiences she had while growing up, when Pam would visit her Uncle June and Aunt Nanette's homestead. I am keeping Nanete and her family in my heart, thoughts and prayers.”
