Terry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Terry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Terry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burtsfield and Delores Burtsfield (Mahler). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Furr; his children, Tina King, Tracy Kaminski (Alec) and Brian Burtsfield (Lauren); and his stepchildren, Mick Ferguson, Dawn Redfern and Alison Freeland. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McGann Hay University Chapel (2313 Edison Rd, South Bend, IN 46615). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
