She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Stager and Frances Stager; her husband John Thompson; her son John Thompson; her grandson Randy Jon Thompson; and her sisters, Goldie Kazor (Raymond), Gertrude Achatz (Bernard), Helen McCallum (James) and Norma Burby (Dave).

She is survived by: her son Marvin Thompson; her grandsons, Bill Thompson and John Thompson Jr.; and her siblings, Irene Patterson and Richard Stager. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
