He is survived by: his children, Dawn Cortis (Greg) of Center Line, Kelly Toth (Russ) of Shelby Township and Scott Pierce of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Alice, Mackenzie, Kelsey and Kayleigh; and his sister Carol Pierce of Center Line.
