He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dewey and Freeda Dewey; his wife Edith "Edie" Jones; his brother Harvey Dewey; and his sister-in-law Carol Dewey.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Dewey (Jim DeHenau), Donald R. III Dewey (Terri Ann), Lisa Frantz (Tim) and Teresa Ward (Kevin); his grandchildren, Donald R. IV Dewey (Ellyse), Georgia Matthews (Bryan), Jacob Dewey (Calsie), Micah Dupuie (James), Joel Frantz (Heather), Joshua Frantz, Keagan Frantz, Kevin Ward (Kayla) and Emily (Matthew); his siblings, Emma Sharrow and Elmer Dewey; and his sister-in-law Sharon Dewey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the family and will be given to local charities in the area.
