She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Meldrum and Ida Meldrum; her sons, Dale Thompson and Paul Thompson; and her sister Leona Shovan.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Thompson (Sharon), Mary McGeachy (Paul), Glen Thompson, Jeff Thompson (Gina) and Lisa Sampson (Richard); and her brother Vern Meldrum. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
