He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hower and Edna Pearl Hower (Hopkins); his siblings, John Hower (Dorothy), Bill Hower (Sherry) and Shirley Gregg; his in-laws, Dale Peterson, Joe Fox and Michael Petchauer; and his parents-in-law, Leo and Doris Petchauer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lynne Hower of Marion; his children, Larry Hower (Sandy Malietzka) of Marion and Leigh A. Hower of Grand Rapids; his grandson Brian Hower of Marion; his great grandchildren, Kwyn, Charlei, Henry and Rowan Hower; his siblings, Betty Fox of Marion, Evelyn Peterson of Fowler and Dale Hower (Sherri) of Marion; and his in-laws, Leonard Gregg of Marion and Carole Segelstrom (David) of California. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Marion Baptist Church (19909 40th Ave, Marion, MI 49665). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
