It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gavagan of Marion, Michigan, who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gavagan and Francis Gavagan (Bair); and his siblings, Marge, Joanne, Phillip, Paul and Kathy.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Rosemary Gavagan of Chesaning, James Jr. (Arlene) of Cookville, John Gavagan of Lansing, Donald (Melissa) of Alger and Gerri Gavagan of Grand Blanc; his grandchildren, Denise, Lisa, Adam, Mary, Connie, Jenee, Zachary, Megan, Joshua, Katie, Ryan, Allie Lauren and Nick; his great grandchildren, Julia, Joseph, Jacob, Matthew, Daniel, Katelyn, David, Phoebe, Harley, Bella, Gavin, Zoe, Leo, Brayden, Blakely and Baylor; and his great great grandchildren, Oliver and Westin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
