He was predeceased by : his parents, Elton Sikkema and Hilda Sikkema (Ouwinga); and his in-laws, John Hoogeveen, Robert Hilts, Jim Sutten and Connie Sneary.
He is survived by : his wife Virginia Sikkema of Marion; his sons, Larry Sikkema (Lori) of Marion and Wade Sikkema (Becky) of Ravenna; his grandchildren, Thomas, Patrick Sikkema, Trevor, Drew and Kyle Sikkema (Sarah VerSluys); his in-laws, Carol Hoogeveen, Ron Sikkema (Beverly), Sue Ann Meeuwenberg (Steve), Norma Sikkema, Bonnie Sikkema, Linda Sikkema, Ruby Hilts, Albert Sutten (Susan), Denise Sutten, Bonnie Asby (John) and Ellis Sneary; and his brothers, Sidney, Peter and Duane Sikkema. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
