He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schepers and Marian Schepers; his brother Lee Schepers; and his brother-in-law Chuck Wood. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fountain; his sons, Mike Schepers (Amanda), Kevin Schepers (Stacie) and Todd Schepers (Lisa Dykstra); his grandchildren, Tim Schepers (Nichole), Earl Poumade (Emily), Taylor Kincer (Lane), Alex Poumade (Jaime), Collin Schepers (Kristine), Caitlyn Gugle (Garett) and Emma Fuller (Edwin); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Tianna, Dylan, Ellana, Joseph, Zaylin, Anya, Cannon, Maggie and Amos; and his siblings, Joyce Mayle (Roger), Mary Wood, Linda Ivy (Jerry) and Paul Schepers (Diana).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral Home (211 N Pine St, McBain, MI 49657). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Vets Serving Vets or Dighton Church.
