He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Blackledge and Alice Blackledge; his sisters, Mary, Catherine and Florence; and his former wife Shirley V. Connor.
He is survived by: his children, Victoria of Marion, Michael of Marion, Daniel of Marion and Amy Bilyea (Charles) of Gaylord; and his siblings, David Blackledge of Frederick, MD, Helena Blackledge (Tina) and Sarah Groves (Richard). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
