Neil E. Pifer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neil E. Pifer of Marion, Michigan, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Pifer and Evelyn Pifer (Nevins); his wife LaVonne "Lou" Pifer (Norine); his son Michael Neil; and his stepdaughter Karen Bradford (Roger).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Ann Andrews (Larry) and Susan Kay Mahaffie (Michael); his daughter-in-law Rita Pifer; his stepdaughters, Julie Lee and Janice Parm (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Shannon Shown (Ethan), Jason Haelterman (Virginia), Jon Haelterman (Jenni), Sheena Pifer Price, Benjamin Mahaffie (Kathryn), Justin Pifer (Anna) and Thomas Mahaffie (Brittany); and his siblings, Robert Pifer (Joann), Ruth Ann Nurrie (Don), Marilyn Kay Arndt (Daniel) and Steven Pifer (Kathy). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
