He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sr. Bobon and Lottie Bobon (Lycynska); his wife Betty Jane Bobon (Parker); his grandson Jeffrey Bobon Jr.; and his siblings, Alfred Bobon, June Darrow, Lillian Dupie and Sophie Chanie.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Walmsley (Earl) of Alpena, Jeffrey Bobon and Owen Kent Bobon (Marion); and his grandchildren, Kristina Landon (Jeff), Matthew Walmsley, Tiffany Bobon, Mara Bobon, Justynn Bobon, Alyssa Jordon (Jason), Alex Bobon (Ashley) and Jamie Bobon-Sylvester.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church (19504 70th Ave, Marion, MI 49665).
In lieu of flowers, memorials and contributions can be made to his church family in his honor.
